MRO Clerk is a private tool used only by the owner of the one Gmail account it is connected to. This page describes what it does with that account's data.
With the owner's permission, granted through Google's sign-in, MRO Clerk reads the messages, attachments and labels in the owner's Gmail account through the Gmail API.
It writes a copy of each email thread, as text and PDF with its attachments, to storage the owner controls, and keeps a record of which threads it has copied so it does not copy them twice. It may also apply labels in the owner's Gmail to organize mail, if the owner grants that permission.
To suggest where a message belongs, the text of a message may be sent to an AI model provider (Anthropic) for processing. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
MRO Clerk does not sell, share or transfer Gmail data to anyone, does not use it for advertising, and does not use it for any purpose other than archiving and organizing the owner's own mail. No person other than the owner and the people he asks to maintain the tool has access to it.
MRO Clerk's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The owner can revoke MRO Clerk's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Archived copies remain on the owner's own storage, under his control.
